Natron Maglaj Company was established in 1956. In 2005 a new JV Company Natron-Hayat d.o.o. Maglaj was established by Natron Maglaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kastamonu Entegre (KEAS), a member of the Turkish Hayat Group. Natron-Hayat is a subsidiary of KEAS and Hayat (Hayat Holding) .

Mill and Technology

With recent investment of €90 million, the plant has been converted in to a Modern Integrated Sack Kraft Mill and other packaging and converting plant

Today, the Natron – Hayat  houses three operating Paper Machines and one unbleached softwood sulphate Pulp Mill supported by Recovery Boiler.

The Paper Machines Produce Semi/ Fully Extensible and High Performance Sack Kraft, other kraft Papers,  MG Kraft Paper and Waste Paper based corrugating Material. In addition there are several kraft paper  and packaging paper converting lines.
